Birth support that
makes you at ease.
Warm, steady, one-on-one care that feels like family, for mothers building their families in Luxembourg, near or far from home.
You moved here for a new chapter, not to do this alone.
For so many mothers in Luxembourg there is no family nearby, a system that runs in an unfamiliar language, and a city they are still learning.
No one to call at 2am
Forms and appointments assumed in French
Not knowing how to choose a hospital
No village around you
No new face every shift. Just one steady hand, from your first flutter to your first sleepless night.
One person beside you, start to finish.
Prenatal support
Visits to prepare your body, mind and birth plan, in English or Polish.
Birth companionship
Continuous, hands-on presence through labour, with backup support for your partner.
Postnatal care
Fourth-trimester visits, so the early weeks feel held, not survived.
I am the constant.
The one who remembers your birth plan, your worries, your name. Warm, unhurried, and completely on your side.

Continuous support makes a difference.
A 2017 Cochrane review (Bohren et al.) looked at 26 studies across 17 countries and more than 15,000 births. It found that continuous support during labour was linked to:
More spontaneous vaginal births
Fewer caesareans
Shorter labours
Less pain medication
Fewer negative feelings about the birth
Higher breastfeeding initiation
Lower risk of postpartum depression
Better five-minute Apgar scores
No adverse outcomes were identified. Having one steady person who knows you is not a luxury. It is part of good care.
